These are vintage handwoven romanian textiles and fabrics. Made on old narrow looms, there is amazing detail in the weave of this linen, cotton blend fabric. The checked plaid- style panels were joined by hand stitching and crochet with no regard for the patterns, adding to their country charm.

The rolls of linen are between 50- 60cms wide, the traditional loom widths. The rolls can be plain, or with various coloured stripes and vary from elegant, fine fabric to course oatmeal linen.
Beyond France washes and presses all linen rolls to make sure they are in premium condition. This ensures there will be no further shrinkage and that no colour will run from stripes or patterns. If we have a long roll, you will be able to buy it in smaller quantities.
