There may well be some marks on these items, but nothing that can't be removed by following our washing instructions:
To wash linen: Spray stains and soak in stain remover. Wash on 60* for best results.
Tumble dry but keep damp. Iron whilst damp.

These large sacks make great cushion covers or loose covers for sofas, settees and suites. Stuff with a single duvet for a day bed cover or for a large floor pillow.
They equate to four pieces of linen hand stitched together, so there is approximately 8 metres of linen for upholstery.
Originally, they were stuffed with straw and used on Hungarian single-sized beds.

These large cart covers have striped designs, hand-stitched seams and often a monogram. Use for oversized square tablecloths
Previously these handwoven fabric cart covers protected the contents of a horse drawn cart.
Sizes vary from 150-250cm wide and 300-500cm long.

| Vintage Linen Per Metre |  | The natural rolls of linen make beautiful table runner tablecloths, fine placemats and napkins as well as being perfect vintage fabric for making kitchen curtains and blinds.
The vintage linen rolls make stunning white, check French, country style or rustic linen table runners.
Ideal if you require a table runner to embroider. Also suitable for roman blinds, antique window coverings and dining room chair covers.
The rolls of linen are between 50- 60cms wide, the traditional loom widths.
The rolls can be plain, or with various coloured stripes and vary from elegant, fine fabric to course oatmeal linen.
Beyond France washes and presses all linen rolls to make sure they are in premium condition. This ensures there will be no further shrinkage and that no colour will run from stripes or patterns.
If we have a long roll, you will be able to buy it in smaller quantities. |

Made on old narrow looms, there is amazing detail in the weave of this linen, cotton blend fabric. The checked plaid- style panels were joined by hand stitching and crochet with no regard for the patterns, adding to their country charm.
These plaid style throw blankets would be superb throws ideal for covering a bed or large sofa or even a large table, create your own rustic log cabin style. Like a tarton throw or tartan plaid throw use as a wall hanging throw!
