Using Vintage Linens for Upholstery, Curtains and Blinds

We are regularly asked 'what can the linen be used for?' Or 'I want to cover a chair or make curtains do you have anything suitable?'

Whether you require vintage linen for curtains, blinds, reupholstering sofas or chairs there are lots of different options and combinations of linen that are suitable.
If you already have an upholstery or curtain project to discuss, please measure the area of the furniture or window (length x width), a drawing is always helpful for this, especially with chairs!

As this is a vintage fabric, the measurements are different to modern upholstery fabric, so therefore the quantity of fabric quoted by an upholsterer won't be relevant- a quote for 7metres of 1.4m wide fabric isn't applicable when we can mix and match sacks, mattress covers and cart covers that are all different widths and lengths.
